We have SO many venues here in Music City, and I have shot at so many of them multiple times. If you have a question about a particular venue, please ask! Here are a few thoughts on a few...
- GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT and CONVENTION CENTER- This is one of the dogs in town. The resort boasts 6 main ballrooms, including the massive 55,314-square-foot event space. It can accommodate banquets of up to 12,280 guests and receptions of up to 13,705 attendees. You will need your good shoes for this one. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. This venue is not walkable to downtown Nashville. It is about a 15-30 minute drive, depending on the time of day. So, if you are planning an off site at a bar downtown you will need to plan for transportation for your attendees.
- JW MARRIOT NASHVILLE- This one has 2 ballrooms, 32 breakout rooms and 2 executive boardrooms all conveniently located on one floor. Plus, luxurious penthouse suites, Nashville’s only private outdoor event lawn, rooftop pool deck, and more. This is one of our most visually beautiful venues. It is situated on the corner of Demonbreun and 8th. It is steps away from our amazing Frist Art Museum and and easy walk to the "Nashvegas" strip.
- OMNI NASHVILLE- A huge perk that Omni has going for it is being connected to the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, along with Barlines, Hatch Show Print (one of my favorite Nashville traditions and spaces), and one of my favorite coffee shops, Bongo Java. It has huge space for all kinds of events, and one of my favorite parts are the huge windows that keep really connected to what is going on in the city while you attend that conference. I shot here on Halloween last year, and I loved peeking down and seeing all the people in costumes as they buzzed around town.
- GRAND HYATT NASHVILLE- With 84,000 square feet of event space and on-site catering, they boast the "Top Meeting Hotel in North America in 2024" for the second year in a row. The event spaces at Grand Hyatt Nashville range from private boardrooms to expansive ballrooms. Grand Hyatt has one of my favorite event space features: these little rest areas on the corner of the building on all 3 event levels. It is this small space that has an amazing view of Frist Art Museum and the beautiful Union Station. They also have a pistachio mousse that is so so yum. Lou/na is their rooftop bar, and if you get the chance you should go enjoy a sunset from here. Unreal.
- FOUR SEASONS NASHVILLE- Probably the best views from inside this event space. You get views of the Cumberland River from one side and downtown from the other. Their staff is wonderful. If your group is around 500 or less, this is your place. The soap in the bathroom smells amazing too. It is the small things, you know?
- BROOKLYN BOWL NASHVILLE- Nineteen bowling lanes, 4 bars, and capacity for 1200. This unique venue is also connected to our Triple A baseball team stadium! It has a retro vibe and photographs really well with all its colorful and unique elements.
